Logan grew up in a small town in Eastern Idaho. His first investment immediately after college was a duplex, which marked his first step into the residential housing market. Years later, the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’ was a unit with excessive damage caused by Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Upon thorough review, he discovered that the ESA letter provided had been purchased online.

After exploring industry solutions to address the issue of fraudulent ESA letters, it became clear that no effective, robust commercial solution existed. Working with several lawyers to refine the process, Logan developed a solution that other property management companies also wanted to access.

With the goal of reducing property damage by educating tenants to become responsible animal owners and implementing a thorough, HUD-compliant ESA verification process, he commercialized OurPetPolicy in 2021. Today, OurPetPolicy operates nationwide and is the leading online animal management solution.
